Following the success of the first AmCham Women of Excellence Award, launched in 2010, AmCham organizes the second Women of Excellence Award - Excellence in Leadership - in 2011.

This year, as well as last year, AmCham  received 52 nominations from various cities of the country. The applications called the attention of the professional Jury in every case to successful, inspiring and exemplary women.

According to the decision of the jury, five ladies were invited to the finals. JĂșlia KirĂĄly, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Hungary, RĂ©ka Matheidesz, founder and CEO of WAMP, Éva Patzauer, founder and CEO of CsodalĂĄmpa Foundation, SĂĄndornĂ©, Éva Kriszt, rector of Budapest Business School and IldikĂł SzƱts, consultant for the president and communications director of OTP Bank.

However, only one woman can receive the award, thus the winner will be announced on November 8, 2011, at the Fifth Annual Conference on Diversity organized by AmCham and held at Hotel Hilton (Buda Castle).
