CIB closes first online property auction

In response to the increased demand experienced in the corporate sector in the past few months, CIB Group was the first in Hungary to offer 46 properties for sale within the framework of an online auction at the end of June 2013, the company said in a press release on Thursday.

CIB Group offered 46 properties for sale – retail units, offices, business sites, catering establishments, pensions, and plots of land – via an online auction at the end of June 2013. A large number of property investors registered for the auction of which a significant number placed bids during the auction. CIB Group said that of the 46 properties offered for sale, over 80% received bids in the auction and of those properties that received bids, CIB Group has accepted nearly all offers. CIB Group has informed all auction bidders of the results via email and by telephone as appropriate.

The next auction is expected to take place in October 2013.
