BCSDH welcomes new director

Awards

Irén Márta has been appointed as director of Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary (BCSDH), taking over the position from Ida Petrik as of October 15, according to an announcement published today.

The announcement praised the work of Petrik, noting the significant improvement the organization has seen under her leadership. Petrik is expecting her third child and said that she plans to dedicate the next two years to her family.

Márta has supported BCSDH’s work as a presidential member for more than six years and has actively contributed to several programs. Previously, she worked at Holcim to expand sustainable architecture in Hungary, and her work was recognized through Sabre Awards and European Excellence Awards.

The main focus of the new director is to expand upon existing programs with the active involvement of other members, while further improving the structure of the organization.
