Budapest to host St Patrick’s Day Parade 2015
The Irish expat community of Hungary is celebrating their national holiday, Saint Patrick’s Day, on Sunday in Szabadság tér, with a parade organized by the Irish-Hungarian Business Circle (IHBC), the business circle said in a press release today.
The event will begin at 1:30 pm, with participants gathering at the square by 3 p.m., followed by a parade from Szabadság tér to Nagymező utca. The procession is expected to last for an hour.
The Instant, a club located roughly where the parade ends, is to host from 20-30 Irish bands, in concerts lasting from 4-9 p.m. For further up-to-date information visit the eventʼs Facebook page.
