Pátria Printing Rt, which operates two printing houses and 18 stores in Hungary, plans to expand into Slovenia and Slovakia, chairman of the board Olivér Dombrádi told MTI on Sunday. Patria intends to open shops in the Slovenian and Slovak capitals, but no specific decision has been taken yet, Dombrádi said. The company, which employs 430 workers, completed a 1 million development project at its printing house in Dombóvár this year and plans development of a similar size next year, Dombrádi said. He added that next year's project will involve upgrading the equipment at the printing house in Budapest.
Pátria distributes 10,000 kinds of products and projects sales revenue of Ft 4.2 billion in 2005. This is slightly less than in 2004, which the company attributes to the loss of some tenders.
