Malév sets up new subsidiary to handle kerosene supply

National carrier Malév Rt has established a new subsidiary at last Friday?s EGM to take care of its fuel supply, Communications Director Krisztina Németh told wire service MTI according to daily Világgazdaság. Set up with a starting capital of Ft 3 million, Repülőtéri Üzemanyag-kiszolgáló Kft (RÜK) is directly owned 96.66% by the airline itself, with the remaining stake held by another Malév subsidiary, Air Budapest Club Kft, Németh added. RÜK?s main activities encompass kerosene purchase, storage, sale and supply at Ferihegy International Airport, FlyBalaton Airport and Debrecen Airport. Subsequent to registration, Malév will transfer the assets of its fuel supply unit into the company, whose equity will rise to Ft 308 million as a result.
