FreeSoft?s day of glory

IT company FreeSoft Rt, publicly traded since last summer, notified the stock market that it won state railway company MÁV Rt?s public procurement tender for a new business management information system. The contract, worth over Ft 750 million, will be signed within eight days. The revenue from the deal will be spread over several years. Prior to the announcement, the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT) suspended trading of FreeSoft stocks from 12:23 p.m. today to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The stocks closed at 2,195 per share after a 7.6% rise from the opening price.
