Duropack breaks ground on Ft 1.2 bln project

On Feb. 18, Duropack-Starpack Kft will break ground on a new production hall at its Füzesabony plant, northwest of Budapest. The company is spending a total of Euro 4.8 million on the project, including the costs of real estate development and new production lines. Duropack, which manufactures corrugated cardboard and other packaging materials in Füzesabony, also has a plant in Kimle, near the Austrian and Slovakian borders, and another one in Székesfehérvár. The company has a headcount of 210. It posted Ft 210 million profit on Ft 5 billion sales revenue in 2004.
