Braille on drug packaging

As of October this year, pharmaceutical companies will be required to
use Braille printing on new drug products to allow safe handling of
medications for the sight-impaired, the Health Ministry said. According
to the new regulation, packets will have to bear the drug's name and
potential effects in Braille writing. The decision is in agreement with
changes effected recently in an EU code which specifies the information
required to be clearly labeled on pharmaceutical products in future.
