Romania's annual bank deposits growth slows down in Dec

The deposits of the non-governmental sector in Romanian banks grew 14.4% year-on-year to RON 420.79 billion (EUR 86.32 billion) in December, compared to an annual increase of 15% in November, the central bank said on Wednesday.

The value of Romanian banks' outstanding loans to the non-government sector grew 5.5% year-on-year to RON 282.37 billion (EUR 57.92 billion) in December, compared to a 4.6% growth in November, the central bank added.
