Invitel welcomes new CFO
Ákos Balogh was appointed Chief Financial Officer for Hungarian telco Invitel, taking effect May 1, according to a press release issued today.
Before joining Invitel, Balogh worked for Nets Group in Scandinavia as regional financial leader. He also worked for Euronet Worldwide. He has international experience working in many different parts of the world, such as the Philippines, Switzerland, Thailand, Romania and also Hungary. He worked for Philip Morris International and also GE Healthcare, during his professional career.
Balogh graduated from the Christopher Newport University in the United States, and completed the Financial Leading Platform of Harvard Business School.
“I am sure that the complex knowledge Balogh acquired on international grounds in different market regions, will pay off as a serious added value in the future for our company,” Invitel CEO David Blunck said.
