Hungarian Plastics Industry Association established

Awards

About a hundred companies have established the Hungarian Plastics Industry Association (MMSZ), the association said on Tuesday.

The association was established as an independent legal entity to boost competition, win markets with innovative developments and introduce new Hungarian products in neighbouring countries. The association earlier functioned as a part of the Hungarian Chemicals Industry Association (MAVESZ) but it said that "challenges resulting from a new system of interest representation made the creation of a separate entity necessary according to the new board elected in May".

About 40,000 people work in Hungary’s plastics industry.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
