New car registrations up 22% in April
Registrations of new passenger cars in Hungary saw a year-on-year increase of 22% to 6,737 in April, the Hungarian Association of Vehicle Importers (MGE) told Hungarian news agency MTI today.
Light commercial vehicle registrations increased by 6.5% to 1,335 during the period, while heavy commercial vehicle registrations fell by 2.4% to 364. Bus registrations came to 43, down by 65.6% from a year earlier, and motorcycle registrations rose 21.2% to 326.
