KSH: Industrial output rises 5.8%

Automotive

Output of industrial production rose by a year-on-year 5.8% in November according to both workday-adjusted and unadjusted figures, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) reported in a first reading today.

Industrial output growth picked up after slowing to 1.7% year-on-year according to both calculations in October. The pickup from October was helped by base effects.

The volume of industrial production in November – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was above the level of the previous month by 3.3%.

KSH is scheduled to publish a second reading, including sales figures, on January 14.
