Industrial output up 3.5% yr/yr in November
Hungary’s industrial output rose 3.5% year-on-year in November after a 3.0% rise in October according to both unadjusted and workday-adjusted figures, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said in a first reading on Friday.
Output rose a sharp seasonally- and workday-adjusted 4.2% from October after dropping 0.9% in October from September. The October monthly drop came after a 3.9% monthly increase in September.
Industrial output was up 5.6% in January-November from the same period a year earlier.
Hungary’s industrial output rose 10.6% in 2010 after a 17.8% contraction in 2009.
KSH will publish a second reading of November output figures on January 13.
