Brussels launches infringement procedures against Hungary
The European Commission has launched infringement procedures against Hungary concerning 2012 changes to regulations on the national competition authority (GVH), on the application of the Dublin Regulation to asylum seekers, and registration tax rules for cars leased from abroad, MTI learned from sources close to the body on Friday.
The Commission believes the calculation and collection of the registration tax for cars leased by foreign companies in Hungary could go against the EU principle on the free movement of services.
