Forint firms further on interbank forex market

The forint traded at 305.925 to the euro shortly by 6:15.pm on the interbank forex market on Thursday, strengthening from 307.180 late on Wednesday. The forint has firmed sharply from just below 310 to the euro last Friday and reached its firmest point since the middle of June.

The forint traded at 241.33 to the dollar, strengthening from 242.25 late on Wednesday although slipping from early trading. It was quoted at 252.705 to the Swiss franc compared to 253.028.
