President of Hungary Katalin Novák has met with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in Tallahassee, the president's press chief told state news wire MTI.

The sides discussed traditional values and protecting families at the meeting, Vajk Farkas said.

Novák congratulated DeSantis on his policy successes, while the governor acknowledged Novák's work, especially efforts to protect families.

The President of Hungary traveled to Florida after addressing the annual session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York on Monday.
