Bosnia Avg Net Monthly Salary Rises in January

The average net monthly salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina stood at BAM 1,328 (EUR 679) in January, up by a real 7.7% on an annual comparison basis, and higher by 2.2% compared to December, the country's Agency for Statistics (BHAS) has announced.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage rose by 9.9% year-on-year and by 2.4% month-on-month in January, the Sarajevo-based agency said in its monthly statement.
The average gross monthly salary was BAM 2,052 (EUR 1,049) in January, 8.1% higher year-on-year in real terms.
Last year, the average net monthly salary in real terms rose 6.1%, while the average gross salary in went up 6.5% year-on-year compared to 2022. (source: BHAS)
