Hungary Solar Power Capacity Climbs Over 5,200 MW

Solar power capacity in Hungary has risen to over 5,200 MW, the Energy Affairs Ministry said on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Capacity of solar parks has reached 3,124 MW and home solar panel capacity stands at 2,080 MW, data from transmission system operator Mavir show.

So far this year, 1,187 MW has been added to solar power capacity, more than during all of last year, the ministry said.
