Hungary Gas Store Levels at 4.5 bln Cubic Meters

Gas in stores in Hungary stands at 4.5 billion cubic meters, level with 44% of annual consumption, the Ministry of Energy Affairs said on Wednesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The ratio is well over the 24% European Union average, the ministry said.

Last year, household gas consumption in Hungary reached 3.4 billion cubic meters, it added.
