Crude Deliveries Through Druzhba Restart

Deliveries of Russian crude in the direction of Hungary through the Druzhba pipeline have restarted, albeit at low pressure, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a video message posted on Facebook on Wednesday.
Deliveries through the pipeline ceased on Tuesday after a rocket hit a transformer that powered a pump station.
"The technical work has been completed to a degree that a few minutes ago, crude deliveries in the direction of Hungary through the Druzbha pipeline were restarted," Szijjártó said.
"Initially, in the current phase, flow pressure is low, but technical work is underway in the interest of bringing deliveries back up to the usual pressure, back to normal levels," he added.
The interruption did not put Hungary's energy supply at risk, Szijjártó said.
