Great interest in modernizing livestock farms

There has been "outstanding" interest in the tenders announced for the modernization of livestock farms according to Agrokép, the agricultural portal of business daily Világgazdaság.
More than 2,000 applications were submitted, with a combined value of slightly more than HUF 56.6 billion. When the tenders were announced, the planned budget available for support was HUF 30 bln.
The agricultural sector will receive HUF 4.265 trillion in funding in the next seven years, three times as much as in the previous EU framework budget period.
