The data from recently concluded research on the coronavirus makes it possible to predict severe conditions caused by the infection, the University of Pécs said in a press release last week.

According to the announcement, the specialists of the university worked with colleagues from the University of Szeged, AdWare Research Kft. and Cortex CPS Kft. to learn about post-COVID symptoms following infection.

According to the results of research involving 60 patients, the chance of developing chronic, serious conditions can be predicted from molecular data collected during the acute infection of the disease.
