Home Rental Rates in Hungary Rise 15.6% in May

Home rental rates in Hungary rose 15.6% year-on-year in May, data compiled by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) from listings site Ingatlan.com show.
Rental rates in the capital increased 16.5%.
In a month-on-month comparison, home rental rates climbed 1.8% nationwide and edged up 0.6% in Budapest.
The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged HUF 207,000 in the second quarter. A home in a large city in the west of the country could be rented for HUF 147,000/month.
