Magyar Posta lays cornerstone for parcel depot in Hatvan

Hungary's state-owned postal company Magyar Posta on Friday laid the cornerstone for a 2,700 sqm parcel depot in Hatvan (about 51 km northeast of the capital) it is building by investing "several hundred million forints", according to a report by state news wire MTI.
Construction work is set to finish this year. The depo will have more than 100 employees, and it will serve an area of 135 settlements with 265,000 residents.
Last year, some 434,000 packages were delivered in the area.
