Business Chamber, Ministry Sign Cooperation Agreement
The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) signed a cooperation agreement with the Culture and Innovation Ministry on Monday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The agreement was signed by MKIK chairman László Parragh and Culture and Innovation Minister János Csák.
Parragh noted that the chamber regularly signed agreements on specific areas with the government and its ministries. The latest one focuses on innovation and paving the way for advances, he added.
Csák said MKIK was the biggest organization representing Hungarian SMEs which formed the "backbone" of the Hungarian economy.
Parragh said policymakers' move to allow Hungarians in vocational training to make the switch to higher education was a "giant step forward".
