The announcement also noted that the hotel, which is located in Budapest has been granted the award for the second time.

“In the past two year’s we have put a tremendous amount of effort in achieving our goals in not only maintaining our level of standards but further improving the small details and touches in the service areas and towards our guests and stakeholders. Becoming the leading business hotel on the Hungarian market for the second time is a very good acknowledgement of our work, which would have not been achieved without our employees, who are the greatest resource and matter the most to the company. However, it is also a great responsibility and challenge at the same time, which drives us to continuously look for new and different approaches to achieving the best results in the next year as well.” Claus Geisselmann, General Manager of InterContinental Budapest says:.

The hotelʼs announcement also noted that this year, InterContinental Budapest has received the “Traveller’s Choice” certificate by the renowned online travel portal TripAdvisor. Also this year, the hotel has been recognized as the TripAdvisor “Hall Of Fame” winner following its win of the “Certificate of Excellence” for five consecutive years, the announcement added. Additionally, InterContinental Budapest has been honored with a series of Best of Budapest awards by Budapest Week Publishing, the announcement added.
