CPI Retail secures 4,140 sqm in transactions

The retail segment of CPI Hungary signed 4,140 sqm in transactions recently, through its handling of 11 office buildings, four shopping centers, three hotels and one logistics park worth approximately HUF 95 billion, according to an announcement issued yesterday.

The transaction involving Pepco, which opened its latest  360 sqm store in Hungary in the Dunakeszi Buy-Way shopping center, was assisted by CBRE, the announcement said. Walterland, located in both the Buy-Way in Dunakesi and in Soroksár, has extended both leases amounting to 1,738 sqm of retail space. Brendon seller of baby products has also extended its contract for 1,943 sqm at the Buy-Way in Soroksár.

CPI’s portfolio in Hungary comprises 220,000 sqm. The company is planning to invest a further HUF 1.3 bln in the development of its real estate portfolio in the next two years.
