Altogether 8,300 sqm of office space is available in various buildings and locations between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of the capital’s airport. Some areas have quick and free public access while others enjoy the advantages of airport security. More than 6,000 sqm of class “A” office space could be built based on tenant requirements, JLL said.

Individual offices range from 1,000 sqm to 6,000 sqm enabling the setup of compact headquarters within close proximity to the airport. Ample parking and storage facilities are also available.

“Airports have increasingly become not only transport hubs but also ideal locations for commercial or business centers,” said Réka Sebestyén, Head of Property Management of Budapest Airport.

“There are lots of non-aviation industries that may benefit from being based at an airport such as telecommunications, IT, pharmaceuticals or automotive industries that also depend on quick access to aviation links to the world. Budapest Airport thus may offer not only an excellent logistics base but also an easy-to-find office location for its future tenants. We think that our cooperation with JLL will provide another significant boost to our office development here at the airport,” she added.
