Tarsoly’s list could unveil corrupt politicians
A list compiled by Csaba Tarsoly, former CEO of insolvent Quaestor boutique brokerage, may contain the names of top Hungarian governmental officials, Hungarian weekly Vasárnapi Hírek said.
The list was reportedly found when the police raided Tarsoly’s home, following scandals surrounding the brokerage he was running. Tarsoly is currently in pre-trial detention as his trial in the case is proceeding.
The weekly believes that the list, which reportedly contains the names of politicians aligned with hundreds of millions of forints used for bribery, could be at the Chief Prosecutor’s office under investigation. Tarsolyʼs lawyer reportedly said he has no knowledge of such a list.
