Rogán: Gov’t to extend growth programs to home buyers, businesses
The government would extend its growth scheme programs to include first home buyers and businesses, Antal Rogán, head of the parliamentary group of the governing Fidesz party, said on Sunday.
Rogán told an economic forum in Tatárszentgyörgy that the government had carried out significant progress in economic growth since 2010, but further steps were required for the desired long-term growth. He said the scheme for first home buyers would target Hungarians who took jobs abroad, and the utility bill reduction scheme aiming businesses would help to increase their competitiveness.
Rogán citing data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said that between 2010 and 2013 the number of Hungarians working abroad grew by 50,000 while jobs at home increased by 320,000.
