Report: Hungarian police use tear gas on refugees in camp

The Hungarian police retaliated against approximately 200 “angered” refugees this morning by using tear gas at a refugee camp in the Hungarian border city of Röszke, Hungarian online daily index.hu reported.
Although it is not yet known what upset the refugees, some news reports claim an altercation with police was caused either by refugees having to wait too long to register or by the presence of journalistsʼ cameras.
Index.hu, reports that the conflict was sparked as refugees did not want to stand in the rain with their children and went to find shelter. Others wanted to speak to the journalists waiting by the fence of the camp. Index.hu reports that police used tear gas to subdue the refugees.
