Median: Participation in municipal vote expected to be low

Party Popularity

This Sunday’s Municipality Elections will have low participation rate, a survey carried out by Median reveals.

The poll shows that political party preferences remained largely unchanged. According to the survey, FIDESZ is steadily leading with 37% of the votes, or 50% of those who are willing to vote this weekend. MSZP’s support dropped from 13-15% this spring to 11% of the population (15% of voters willing to participate in the elections). Far-right party Jobbik is likely to have 21% of the votes, unchanged in the same period. The full report is to be published in HVG on Thursday.
