Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán today met Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in Sofia to discuss the cooperation of the two countries, as well as economic ties, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
Orbán praised the economic ties of the two countries saying they are booming, adding that cooperation of the two countries is good. The prime minister noted that Hungarian businesses operating in the country are treated fairly and have an honest chance of competing, MTI reported. Orbán called Bulgaria a stable country without political uncertainty, MTI said, which is good for Hungarian businesses as regulations are predictable and easy to understand. The Hungarian prime minister urged the scale of cooperation between the two countries be increased.
Borissov noted a number of projects Hungarian companies are undertaking in Bulgaria as well as the relaunch of a direct flight between Budapest and Sofia, MTI reported.
