Orbán discusses economic cooperation with Hong Kong financial secretary

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met John Tsang Chung, the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong, this morning in the Hungarian Parliament to discuss economic cooperation with Asia, press chief Bertalan Havasi told Hungarian news agency MTI.

Hungary’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó and National Economy Minister Mihály Varga also participated in the negotiations, the press chief said.

The topics of the meeting included the presence of Hungarian companies in Asian markets and, specifically, business opportunities in Hong Kong.

National Economy Minister Mihály Varga met with John Tsang Chung yesterday to discuss European and Asian economic trends as well as capitalizing on opportunities offered by Chinaʼs One Belt, One Road economic strategy.
