Memorials held in Budapest for victims of Paris attacks

Hundreds gathered outside the French Institute in Buda yesterday for a memorial to the victims of the terrorism in Paris on Friday. Éric Fournier, France’s ambassador to Budapest addressed the crowd. Others gathered outside the Basilica yesterday, to light candles in memory of the victims, according to reports.

 An official memorial event was held in front of Parliament today, including a ceremony in which the flag outside of Parliament was lowered to half-mast, according to reports.
