Speaking at his regular weekly press conference, Lázár said the money could be spent on acquiring land for industrial parks, reduce state debt or support healthcare programs, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

The government sold approximately 180,000 hectares of state-owned land to local farmers in two rounds initiated last November. Another 60,000 hectares were offered in a third round launched in May.

Lázár also said the government had decided to allocate HUF 25 bln for the renovation and expansion of the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest.
