Lázár: Paris terror suspect recruited in Budapest in September
One of the main organizers of the Paris terror attacks was reportedly at Budapestʼs Keleti Railway Station in September and recruited a team made up of those refugees who refused to register with Hungarian authorities, Cabinet Chief János Lázár said today at his regular weekly press conference, according to Hungarian online dailies index.hu and origo.hu.

Lázár did not name the person he said was the organizer, nor did he divulge the source of his information, index.hu reported, but the cabinet chief reportedly said Hungarian secret intelligence did not know about the presence of the terrorists at the time.
Lázár said that western secret intelligence services only learned that the terrorist was in Hungary, after he had left the country, origo.hu reported.
Lázárʼs comments followed a report by Belgian RTL yesterday that Salah Abdeslam, who is being sought as a suspect for the Paris terror attacks, may have met the two Paris suicide bombers in Hungary in September, index.hu reported. Belgian RTL said that Abdeslam could have come to Hungary with a car rented in Belgium, and picked up two people in Hungary who had arrived from Syria, index.hu said. Belgian RTL wrote that Abdeslam and the two accompanying him were registered by the Austrian authorities on the Hungarian border on September 9, index.hu reported.
