Keleti Station reopens; refugees not allowed to board trains
As of noon today, refugees were prohibited from entering Keleti train station, even with valid documentation and train tickets, an aid volunteer interviewed at the scene said. Although refugees were allowed to board trains bound for Austria yesterday, the station was closed to all passengers this morning, and it remains off-limits to refugees, who are demonstrating.

A number of refugees purchased tickets yesterday, one family in particular spent €1,000 on tickets, but they are not being allowed to board trains and are being stopped at the entrance by a group of about 50 police officers, according to a volunteer with Migration Aid.
Police on the scene said that only people with valid documentation can enter the train station.
Refugees have been demonstrating peacefully outside of the station, chanting slogans such as: “Germany” and holding placards reading: “Please open the station”.
The Migration Aid volunteer said that refugees with passports and visas for Germany are supposed to be allowed to board the train. But it appeared to the volunteer that refugees are being blocked, even if they have the proper documentation.
According to one police officer on the scene, police were ordered to come to Keleti but they have no information on how long they will be required to stay nor why the refugees are not being allowed into the station.
