Citibank Europe awarded by Hungary's ÁKK

Hungary's Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) on Tuesday named Citibank Europe "Primary Government Securities Market Dealer of the Year" for 2011.

ÁKK CEO István Töröcskei presented the acknowledgment which ÁKK has awarded since 1997.

Raiffeisen Bank generated the most primary market turnover of government bonds last year. ING Bank led the market for discount treasury bills.

Goldman Sachs International had the biggest turnover on the secondary market for government securities.

AKK's biggest repo partner was BNP Paribas.
