Voluntary pension fund assets grow 5% in Q1
Members of the Hungarian voluntary pension fund association OPOSZ had assets of HUF 1.093 trillion at the end of the first quarter, up 5% from a year earlier as membersʼ individual health fund payments grew 4.5% to HUF 2.2 billion, OPOSZ told Hungarian news agency MTI yesterday.
Chairman of the association Gábor Kravalik said membersʼ individual pension fund payments rose 8.1% to HUF 14.6 bln. The number of pension fund members changed nominally, he added.
Average assets per one member came to HUF 1.03 million at the end of the first quarter at the pension funds.
Health fund members used the funds to finance health-related expenditures on 1.9 million occasions in the first quarter, to a value of almost HUF 9 bln.
