Guests from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, the member countries of the Visegrad Four group, gathered in Seoul on Sunday for the week-long 2016 Korea-V4 Young Professional Cultural Exchange Camp, daily newspaper The Korean Herald reported today.

Participants are set to tour Seoul’s Creative Center for Convergence Culture and the CEL Venture Complex, where they will be shown the Korean government’s vision for the future of the creative economy, the paper said. Other destinations will include the National Museum of Korea, a digital technology exhibition held by Samsung, and cultural sites in the city of Gyeongju, the historic capital of the Silla Kingdom, the paper continued.

The event is hosted by Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and run by Herald Corp., and is part of a joint promotion of personnel exchange in the fields of culture, economy, and technology between the V4 countries and Korea. The exchange began following a summit meeting held in December of last year, according to the report.
