Hungary Life Expectancy Below EU Avg

Life expectancy at birth stands at 76 years in Hungary, state news wire MTI reports, citing the latest data compiled by Eurostat.

In a regional comparison, life expectancy at birth is 79 years in Czechia, 77 years in Poland, and 77 years in Slovakia.

For the European Union as a whole, life expectancy is close to 81 years.

Life expectancy is highest in Spain (83 years) and lowest in Bulgaria (74 years), Eurostat revealed.
