Semmelweis University, GE sign cooperation agreement
The Semmelweis University in Budapest and the local unit of General Electric signed a cooperation agreement today to support the development of medical technologies in anesthesiology, transplantation, healthcare IT, image analysis and pathology, university rector Ágoston Szél said.
The head of Hungary’s GE unit Joerg Bauer, said the company has more than 500 researchers in Hungary, hence the cooperation "with Hungaryʼs most prestigious medical university".
