MOL, Richter lift BUX

The Budapest Stock Exchangeʼs main BUX index finished the session on Tuesday up 0.23% at 28,014.13, rising on gains by oil and gas company MOL and drugmaker Richter.

MOL closed up 0.88% at HUF 17,715 on turnover of HUF 1.53 bln from a HUF session total.

Richter gained 0.50% to HUF 6,030 on turnover of HUF 2.21 bln. Richter continued to rise after reaching a historical high on Monday. Richter is scheduled to release an earnings report sometime during the week.

OTP Bank lost 0.31% to HUF 6,836 on turnover of HUF 1.75 bln.

Magyar Telekom fell 0.45% to HUF 446 on turnover of HUF 0.18 bln.

The bourseʼs mid-cap BUMIX index edged down 0.04% to 1,715.37.

Elsewhere in the region, Warsawʼs WIG 20 dropped 0.59% and the Prague PX fell 0.34%.

Western Europeʼs biggest indices were mixed ahead of the end of trade on Tuesday. Londonʼs FTSE 100 was up 0.24%, Frankfurtʼs DAX rose 0.29% and the CAC 40 in Paris slipped 0.10%.
