Hungary’s Agriculture Minister Sándor Fazekas and Shosuke Maki, the chairman of Japanʼs Tohzai Sangyo Boeki, which deals in Hungarian goose and duck liver, yesterday discussed in Japan the company’s intentions to build a market for these Hungarian products in Japan, Hungarian news agency MTI reported yesterday.

During meetings, Fazekas spoke to more than one hundred Hungarian and Japanese pork industry representatives, MTI reported, citing an announcement by the farming ministry.

Fazekas is expected to visit the Foodex Japan 2016 food and beverage expo today, where Hungarian companies are participating as exhibitors.
