Invitel receives ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 certificate
Hungarian telco Invitel has been awarded the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 certificate, which is valid for a three-year period and relevant to business with infocommunication services such as HelpDesk, server hosting, local IT support and distance infrastructure operations, an announcement released today reveals.
“Winning the certificate is an important milestone for Invitel, as it shows that our strategy is successful,” Áron Javornicky, Chief Operative Director of Corporate & Wholesale Business Unit and Director at Invitel, said. He noted that Invitel places great emphasis on certifying their activities in line with the norms of international regulations.
The announcement says that such certifications show the market that Invitel has become a leading infocommunication solutions provider, and it also provides good feedback for the company.
The announcement noted that Invitel was able to double revenues in the field of ICT services sales in the last two years. Invitel is currently in strategic cooperation with Microsoft, Oracle, HP, IBM and Cisco.
