Investment fund assets up 0.44% in September, says BAMOSZ

Assets in investment funds managed by members of the Association of Hungarian Investment Fund and Asset Management Companies (BAMOSZ) stood at HUF 5.676 trillion in September, up 0.44% on the previous month, BAMOSZ said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Assets in money market funds fell 1.1% to HUF 1.017 tln on net redemptions of HUF 19.9 bln. 

Assets in property funds grew 1.5% to HUF 684 bln as net sales of units reached HUF 9.59 bln.

Assets in derivative funds rose 3.2% to HUF 154 bln on net unit sales of HUF 5.56 bln.

Assets in bond funds were up 0.8% at HUF 1.351 tln as investors made net investments of HUF 8.6 bln.

Mixed fund assets fell 0.3% to HUF 754 bln, on net redemptions of HUF 2.48 bln.

Assets in share funds increased 0.3% to HUF 264 bln as net investments reached HUF 1.23 bln.

Assets in principal-protected funds fell 2.1% to HUF 374 bln as net sales reached HUF 3.76 bln.

Assets in absolute-yield funds were unchanged at HUF 774 bln with net withdrawals of HUF 201 million.

Assets in commodity funds rose 5.5% to HUF 22.9 bln as net investments amounted to HUF 845 mln.
