The output of Hungary’s fish farms is expected to be around 22,000-23,000 tons this year, very similar to last yearʼs output, Ferenc Lévai, the head of fish farm business Aranyponty told Hungarian news agency MTI yesterday.

This year’s rainy spring and summer heat, as well as cheap imports from Croatia, negatively affected Hungarian fish farms, Lévai told the news agency. The head said that Aranyponty’s revenue for 2015 is expected to reach last yearʼs HUF 800 million, MTI reported.
